Peter was born in Dubuque, IA. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Northern Arizona State University in 1982. He also holds a diploma in Brewing Science from the Siebel Institute of Technology. After internships with several breweries, Peter worked for several years at Hops! Bistro and Brewery, in AZ, and eventually became Head Brewer. In 1996 he co-founded McFarlane Brewing Co., in Phoenix, AZ. From 2000-2003 he was Master Brewer at Leinenkugel's Ballpark & Brewery. In 2004-2005 Peter worked at Rogue Ales in Oregon. Following a six-year stint of small-batch wine production, in Napa, CA, Peter moved to Fredericksburg, TX to become the Brewmaster at Pedernales Brewing Company.
Steve is a native Texan and was raised in Longview in the Piney Woods of East Texas. A graduate of the University of Houston, he earned a BBA degree in Business Management. Steve retired from ExxonMobil
in March 2015 after completing a career of 41 years having last served as Manager, Drilling Rig Contracting.
He and his wife, Diana now reside in the Cave Creek area near Fredericksburg.
A 7th generation Texan, Lee has been a resident of Fredericksburg, TX since 1985. He is an Eagle Scout and served as an adult scouter from 1998-2013. Lee is a third generation Rotarian, and Sam Houston State University graduate with a BBA degree in Marketing. Lee founded his first company, El Cibolo Investments, in 1981. In 1983 he founded Wimberley Valley Wines Inc. and purchased Blue Mountain Vineyards, Ltd. In 1989 he started the Hereford Companies selling fine wines in Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas; retiring from the wine industry in 2003. In 2004 he bought the rights to Travel Host of San Antonio and he founded Pedernales Brewing Co. in July 2009; beginning distribution in April 2012.
